Itinerary
|
Day 1-2 Travel to Tanzania
Day 3 Mt. Kilimanjaro

Begin your safari with an exciting day of trekking on Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Pass through pastures and grasslands to rainforests where sunbirds, mousebirds, and robins sing sweetly.
Day 4 Lake Manyara
-
On a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, see the marshes,
grasslands, lush forests, and lakes and the array of wildlife grazing here.

Observe flamingos and other water birds searching for food in the nutrient rich waters of the soda lake.

Watch hippos soaking in cool water baths, see more than 300 species of birds, and look for tree climbing lion perched in acacia trees.
Day 5-6 Ngorongoro
Crater
-
During an early morning game drive, see gazelles, impala, buffalo, hyena, giraffe, wildebeest, and baboon.

Arrive at Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enjoy an afternoon at leisure to explore the beautiful grounds of the lodge.

Take an interesting drive into the Crater, witnessing a large array of big game animals that roam the crater floor.

Watch
for eland, zebra, water buck, wildebeest, hippopotamus, African
Buffalo, rhino, and several types of gazelle.

Observe
an immense flock of Greater and Lesser flamingos at the soda lake.
Day 7 Serengeti
National Park

Stop at the famous archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge, where Homo Habilis was uncovered in the search for the origins of human existence.

Discover
a spectacular concentration of game, such as elephant, buffalo,
wildebeest, lion and giraffe, while on safari in Serengeti National Park.

Birdwatchers
may see colorful rollers, bee-eaters, kingfishers, sunbirds, game
birds and waterfowl.
Day 8-9 Serengeti
National Park

During the next two days, arrange a variety of activities to explore the vast plains at Serengeti National Park:
daylight game drives, bird watching, bush luncheons, secret blinds for watching crocodiles feed, guided game walks, tribal village visits, boating and fishing excursions on Lake Victoria, and slide presentations with a resident naturalist.
Day 10 Depart
