Living most of my life in the South, I am always drawn to the complete opposite landscapes that the West offers. Having the chance to visit two bucket-list places, Yellowstone and Grand Teton, after the COVID shutdown was a dream come true, and I will be forever grateful for that opportunity. Once we arrived, it was hard not to keep my camera glued to my face, snapping pictures and trying to capture the magnificent expansive rivers, fields, mountains, unique thermal features and so much wildlife! You can’t get any more iconic than the picturesque location of Mormon Row with the Grand Teton Mountains in the background. Even the smoke and haze from the California wildfires could not diminish the majestic landscape. It wasn’t hard to imagine how awe-inspiring it would have been for the homesteaders to wake up to those views every morning.
