All USA citizens require a passport that is valid a minimum of three months after their return date to the USA. If you must apply for a new passport, plan to allow six to eight weeks for this process. We recommend that you bring along a photocopy of the first page of your passport (the page that has your photograph and information); in the event that your passport is lost or stolen, a copy of it will be of great assistance. A travel visa for USA citizens is not required for this program. Non-USA citizens must check entry and visa requirements.
Students are permitted one personal item and one carry-on-size suitcase.Traveling becomes far more enjoyable when not weighed down by heavy, oversized luggage. We aim for you to fully relish your experience without the fatigue of lugging around cumbersome bags. We recommend packing all your belongings into a single small, lightweight suitcase with wheels, easily manageable on your own. Additionally, each student’s carry-on and checked bags must be labeled with a luggage tag featuring their name, home address, phone number, and email address. One carry-on-size bag (that can be checked) that has a maximum dimension of 21 in. (55 cm) and weighs less than 50 lb. (22 kg) per student. We strongly recommend that your personal item be a backpack, purse, or shoulder bag, as this bag can be used for your daily excursions.
