The Costa Rica Herpotological Symposium will be held at Holbrook Travel's very own Selva Verde Lodge in Sarapiqui, Costa Rica, from Sept. 2-7.
The event will include workshops, presentations, conservation and herpetological organizations. At the event, major herpetology experts like Dr. Bill Lamar, a famous herpetology researcher and documentary maker; Alejandro Solorzano, director of the Costa Rican Serpentarium; and Cesar Barrio, taxonomist and herpetology tropical explorer.
In the lush and tropical setting of Costa Rica, there is an abundance of natural flora and fauna that will reflect the spirit of the symposium. This event will give travelers the opportunity to share their research with others from all over the world.
In addition, you will have the chance to observe more than 435 species of amphibians and reptiles in their natural habitat and learn about the natural history of the Sarapiqui River.
