The Rain Forest Aerial Tram is a unique eco tourism and research facility that takes visitors floating (open gondola) through the rainforest canopy, with its hanging garden of plants and animals, high in the tops of tropical trees. The canopy is home to two thirds of all rainforest species, and the Aerial Tram site, on the northern border of Braulio Carrillo National Park, possesses one of the richest canopy communities in the world.
