Day Two:
Marion and Carol have made it safely to Quito. Today they will explore the many sites of Quito, such as the El Panecillo where they can see the volcanic Cotopaxi.
They also visit the many historic landmarks of the city such as La Compañia Church and Quito's colonial center.
Walked and explored Quito's colonial center, with Independence Square. Saw the Presidential and Bishop Palace, as well as the Cathedral. Visit Compañia Church, one of the most beautiful churches in Quito, legendary for its gold covered interior.
The day is also filled with a culinary tour of Ecuador, complete with a celebration of Marion and Carol's 47th Anniversary!

North Seymour Island is home to the Blue-Footed Booby, Sea Lion, and many other forms of wildlife. Marion and Carol's group is fortunate enough to encounter most of these species that inhabit the island on their journey throughout the day.
North Seymour Island is conveniently located next to Baltra Island. It is considered one of the most active seabird colonies in the archipelago. Blue-footed Boobies will nest near the trails, we had opportunity to get a close view during the walks.
